Lecturer: Stefania Tesser, Electronic Resources and Reference Services Librarian of Ca’Foscari University of Venice (Italy)
Stefania Tesser graduated in 1992 in Foreign Languages and Cultures at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She works as a Reference and Instruction Librarian at the same university since 1997. Her areas of interest and activity are: electronic resources management, information literacy and social media. Since 2005 she is a member of the working group on official publications of the Italian Library Association, that ecourages the free access to the documents of the Italian and European public institutions. She published articles and contributions on European documentation in several journals and e-books of information science.
In this lecture, Stefania Tesser introduces the situation in Italy during the COVID-19 Pandemic as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by Italian librarians.
