TCM has played a positive role in the control of COVID-19 in China. Based on the prevention and control practices against COVID-19, he would like to share some ideas on TCM prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of emerging infectious diseases.
COVID-19 has been brought under control in China. Some other countries have adopted preventative measures different from those in China, and the pros and cons of all these measures need to be weighed objectively. China has entered the post-epidemic period earlier than other countries. The impact of the epidemic is expected to be long-lasting. How to focus on the key populations in preventing and controlling the epidemic? How to learn from the experience of other countries to develop a reasonable public health strategy in the coming future?
COVID-19 is an infectious disease that has exerted a heavy burden on society and posed a threat to global public health. TCM has been used in China to prevent and treat COVID-19 since its outbreak. Nevertheless, what is the magnitude of the association between TCM therapy and the outcome? Is it possible for WHO to recommend TCM in COVID-19 guideline, promoting its application worldwide? What is the prevailing issues regarding this disease, and where should TCM research step in and make strides in the near future?
