3. Speaker: LU Yao is Tenured Associate Professor of Finance in the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University. She received her Ph.D. in Business Economics from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2009. Her research areas include Corporate Governance, Merges and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Technological Change, Law and Finance, Reform and Development of Capital Market.
She has published papers in Journal of Finance, Management Science, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Finance, etc. She has obtained “China National Natural Science Foundation – Outstanding Youth Foundation” and “Young Scholar Research Award of Tsinghua University”.
She currently serves as Deputy Director of the Tsinghua University Center for Corporate Governance.
演讲嘉宾：陆瑶，清华大学经管学院，金融系（长聘）副教授。2009年获得美国密歇根大学-安娜堡分校(University of Michigan -- Ann Arbor)罗斯商学院(Ross School of Business) 博士Ph.D. in Business Economics。主要研究领域为公司治理，兼并收购，公司金融与技术变革，法与金融，资本市场改革与发展。
她曾经在《Journal of Finance》 《Management Science》 《Journal of Financial Economics》 《Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis》 《Review of Finance》 《经济研究》 《管理世界》等国内外顶级学术期刊发表了多篇论文。曾获国家自然科学基金委“优秀青年科学基金”，“清华大学学术新人奖”。
4. Abstract: With rapid technology development, the transformation of digital economy is an important feature of our modern society. How does this situation affect and change corporate governance structures and mechanisms? By analyzing the corporate governance theory and important business cases, this course will answer the following three questions: (1) How does digital economic transformation affect the corporate governance reform of modern enterprises? (2) How can state-owned enterprises adapt to the environment with rapid changes in product markets and improve their corporate governance? (3) How to solve the corporate governance problem of private firms and realize the inheritance of family wealth? This course will help firms find new solutions to future development from the corporate governance perspective.
