Speaker: Wenxuan Hou received his PhD from Manchester Business School, tenured professor at the University of Edinburgh Business School and the professor of Shanghai Lixin Institute of Accounting and Finance. He is elected as the young member of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (UK National Academies), Vice president of the Chinese Association for Economics in the UK and Europe, Director of the Asian Finance Association, Director of the China Development Research Centre (UK), Invited Senior Fellow of the Centre for China and Globalization, and Principal Professor of Corporate Finance at the University of Edinburgh. He is the deputy editor-in-chief of the Journal of Business Ethics, Abacus, Corporate Governance: An International Review, International Small Business Journal and other famous international academic journals, or the editor-in-chief of a special Chinese journal, and is dedicated to research on corporate governance, system reform, financial markets and business ethics.
