中国留美经济学会（CES）2020-2021年度院长论坛

中国留美经济学会 (CES) 三十余年来一直致力于促进中美经济学学术交流。在这个特殊时期, 学会将继续发挥为中美学者提供交流平台的使命,于2020年11月21日（北京时间）以线上形式举办CES 2020-2021年度首期院长论坛。首期论坛旨在为机构和留学生提供求职及人才培养相关内容探讨，同时确保国内院校与海外应届博士毕业生及时和充分的交流。

※ 主题：经济学人才招聘，培养和评估:跨国跨区域比较

※ 日程：

Ø 09:00–10:00【第一环节】应届博士毕业生求职培训

Ø 10:00–11:00【第二环节】院长嘉宾做为主讲人进行主题相关讨论

CES Deans' Symposium 2020-2021

   Chinese Economists Society (CES) has been committed to promoting academic exchanges in economics between China and the United States for more than 30 years. During this special period, CES will fulfill its mission and hold the first “CES Dean's Symposium 2020-2021” online on November 20, 2020 (US Eastern Time). The first symposium aims to provide institutions and international students with free job market training and job search services. 

※  Time: Nov. 20^th Friday US Eastern Time (Nov 21^st Saturday Beijing Time)

※  Agenda (Based on US Eastern Time):

   Ø 8 – 9 PM: Job Market Training (Session 1), where CES will invite seasoned faculty and recent Ph.D. graduates to offer advice and tips on both in-person as well as virtual interviews, share their insights and experiences on dossier preparation and job search both in the U.S. as well as in China, and hold Q&A session for job market candidates.

    Ø 9 – 10 PM: Forum with Deans (Session 2), where CES will invite Deans of Economics Schools, senior faculty (from both China and the U.S.), and recruiting directors to discuss policies and practices in recruiting, retaining and evaluating economics talents in China, as well as specific recruiting plans.
