4. Abstract: In late 2019, COVID-19 outbroke and spread swiftly all over the world. There’s no effective prevention or therapy for this disease. Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine took part in the 4th batch of national TCM team to Wuhan Leishenshan Hospital. The team pioneered the use of acupuncture for COVID-19 treatment and found that acupuncture treatment significantly reduced the course of disease and had a remarkable curative effect in improving such symptoms as cough, fatigue, poor appetite, and anxiety. This lecture shares the clinical experience of acupuncture in patients with COVID-19 in the hope of providing an effective protocol for the battle against COVID-19 worldwide.
